Kim Kardashian Begged Husband Kanye West To End Presidential Bid, Source Says

Kim Kardashian begged Kanye West to prioritize their family over his political ambition, but he has no plans to withdraw his presidential bid, according to a source.

West announced on Twitter on the Fourth of July that he will be running for president. His wife, Kardashian, showed her support by retweeting his announcement with the American flag emoji. On July 10, Kardashian also retweeted a video of West encouraging the public to register to vote. However, she seemed to have had a change of heart about her husband’s candidacy.

"Kim begged Kanye to stop his presidential thing, to stop talking about their kids at rallies. But he ignored her and instead he went ahead and hired more people . . . and tried to register in more states. He just won’t stop this presidential bulls---," a source told Page Six.

"This is a nightmare for Kim, she is looking for a way out. But she’s also a nice person and wants to do the best for her kids," the source added.

Kardashian's rep responded to the claim and denied it. "This is not true," the rep said.

Kardashian and West's marriage has been rumored to be on the rocks due to the latter's recent bipolar episodes. It started when West had a meltdown at a rally and announced that they considered to abort their first baby, North West.

After that, West called out Kardashian and her mom Kris Jenner on Twitter for trying to lock him up with a doctor. Furthermore, he said he wanted to divorce Kardashian after she met up with Meek Mill in 2018.

An insider said that it was West’s worst episode and Kardashian feared he had hit the rock bottom. The KKW mogul and her family are making sure that the kids won’t be affected by their dad’s erratic behavior.

Last week, Kardashian flew to Wyoming to visit her husband. They were spotted inside a vehicle and she looked upset and was crying. According to a source, the reality star is already planning to divorce her husband because she felt that she already did everything she could to help him. However, she is torn because it's not what she wants for their family.

"She was to the point that she flew to Cody to basically tell him their marriage is over and to say goodbye," an insider said.

"Kim is very torn. The last thing she wants is to be divorced with four kids. She knows that she will be fine financially, but her concerns are the kids and the partnership. She is moving towards a divorce, but who knows if she will actually sign papers."
