Kim Kardashian Dethroned By Sisters Kendall And Kylie Jenner As Instagram Queen

Kim Kardashian West has relinquished her throne as social media queen. Instagram has released its list of top 10 most liked photos of the year and she is noticeably absent. However, she shouldn’t feel so bad considering her sister, Kendall Jenner, has taken the top spot. Another sibling, Kylie Jenner, also makes an appearance in the list.

The Mirror published the full list of most liked photos. Kendall’s post, which features her, lying on the ground in a white lace dress is the clear winner. It has gained 3.2 million likes since it was posted 6 months ago. At that time, the photo dethroned Kim’s wedding photo with Kanye West as the most liked photo on the popular social media platform.

Kendall appears twice on the list. She also gained the tail end of the list with a cleavage-baring selfie. Kylie Jenner landed in the 4th position, with a photo taken during her surprise graduation party earlier this year. She holds up her high school diploma in the photo and gains 2.3 million votes in the process.

Apart from the Jenner girls, Taylor Swift dominates the list with a total of 5 entries. Her top post is incidentally also related to the Kardashian-Jenner clan. She gained 2.6 million likes for a photo featuring herself standing beside a bouquet of flowers given to her by Kanye West. The bouquet was sent to her after the two of them let bygones be bygones, when they both attended the MTV Video Music Awards again for the first time since their speech interruption fiasco back in 2009. Taylor’s other top photos feature her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, and her adorable cats. Singers Beyonce and Selena Gomez also made it to the list.

With Kim giving birth this month, she has said that she can’t wait to get back in shape. She will likely be documenting her progress on Instagram and it remains to be seen if she will reclaim her throne.
