Kim Kardashian First Baby Photos: How Much Will Pictures Of Reality Star's Daughter Sell For?

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their baby daughter to the world over the weekend in one of the most highly anticipated celebrity pregnancies of the year. We still don't know what the baby’s name is, and the second question on everyone’s mind is: When we will get to see the newborn, whom sources say is the spitting image of her reality-TV-star mother.

Kardashian, 32, has reportedly stated that her daughter will not be featured on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” However, it is still very likely that the Kardashians, who are known for being in the spotlight and sharing intimate details of their lives, will share the first image of the baby girl on the cover of an upcoming celebrity magazine.

How much could the much-anticipated photos sell for?

It is possible that the first pictures could go for as much as $11 million. In 2008, the first photos of Angelina Jolie’s twins, Knox and Vivienne Jolie Pitt, allegedly sold for that amount, to both “People” and “Hello!”

In 2008, Jennifer Lopez and then-husband Marc Anthony sold photos of their twins, Max and Emme, for a reported $6 million.

Back in January, when Kardashian was just three months pregnant, there was already talk about how much she and West would stand to earn for the first images of their baby. A source told British newspaper the Sun, “Kim is in talks with TV execs about filming the run-up to the birth -- scans, hospital visits, everything. "She could make £10million [$16 million] from the pregnancy alone.”

However, others in the entertainment industry said the market has changed. Though the images of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins in 2008 sold for such a high amount, magazines are not selling as well as they were four to five years ago.

“The first images of Kim’s baby could sell for as much as $3 million,” an editor-in-chief of a weekly told the Huffington Post. But don't worry, Kardashian and West won't starve. “Just like she did on her wedding, Kim will be able to make money from TV specials, gifts, baby showers and baby parties,” the source said.

Kardashian reportedly earned $18 million from her televised wedding last August to NBA player Kris Humphries. The marriage lasted 72 days. Her mom, Kris Jenner, told The Hollywood Reporter: "This time [with West] it will be private and smaller, if she does get married again -- not 500 people."
