Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have not rekindled their romance, according to a report.
Over the past several weeks, rumors have claimed that West, 44, and Kardashian, 40, may be back together as they continue to show support for each other amid their ongoing divorce. The rapper was reportedly in the audience when the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum made her hosting debut on "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend.
However, an unnamed source told Page Six that "nothing's changed" between the former couple despite Kardashian dropping her married name multiple times on "SNL."
"They are not back together," the insider continued. "He is still her family, and they are friends. They’ve been working on their friendship for the kids, and continue to support each other. He’ll always be her family, and they’ll always support each other."
The source added that though Kardashian and West were photographed multiple times together in New York City, they stayed at separate hotels "the entire week" while she was there.
Kardashian stayed at The Ritz-Carlton on Central Park South, according to the insider. On the other hand, the Yeezy founder reportedly opted to stay at the Pendry Manhattan West.
West did attend rehearsals with the reality star and gave her some advice for her gig, Page Six reported. The hip-hop star and producer, who has never hosted "SNL" before but has performed on it seven times, also joined Kardashian as she left her hotel en route to the show Saturday.
West and Kardashian kept waving and making eyes at each other when she was delivering her "SNL" monologue, an eyewitness told Page Six. However, he reportedly left the audience and headed backstage shortly after the opening. The rapper also didn't attend his ex's "SNL" afterparty.
In her monologue, Kardashian poked fun at her divorce from West. She described him as "the best rapper of all time," before noting that he's "the richest Black man in America" and "a talented, legit genius who gave me four incredible kids."
"So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to one thing – his personality," Kardashian joked. "I know it sounds mean, but people keep telling me that comedy comes from truth. And if there’s one thing that I always strive to be, it’s genuine."
Kardashian filed for divorce from West in February after nearly seven years of marriage. They share four kids — daughters North, 8, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, 2.
