Kim Zolciak Reveals Real Hair Without A Wig On New Bravo Show [PHOTOS]

Kim Zolciak is baring it all in her new show Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star revealed her real hair when she stepped out without a wig during preparations for her wedding day.

Kim Zolciak took off her wig to reveal her real shoulder-length, layered blonde hair in order to decide on a final wedding day hairstyle.

I know I have great hair, but I love wigs and look good in 'em, Zolciak, 33, said while talking to her hairstylist Derek J and her assistant Niki.

Zolciak has been seen wearing her full, blonde wigs since she first appeared as a cast member on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Viewers have consistently asked about Zolciak's real hair, but the housewife never took off her wig.

Now I won't get another tweet [asking] Are you bald? Has [husband] Kroy seen you without your wig?' Zolciak said, adding that her football player husband, Kroy Biermann, has indeed seen me topless in every sense of the word.

My wigs need to be done beforehand for real, Zolciak told her friend while preparing for her November wedding. I think romantic curls and all down.

I have a ton of wigs, but I want a fresh one for the wedding, she told her hairstylist. It has to be clean, it has to be bouncy.

During Thursday's episode, Zolciak tweeted a photo of herself watching the episode, writing: And YES that is all my own hair! Not extensions, not clip ins!!!!!! Alllllll me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Atlanta-native revealed the reason she wears wigs during The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Reunion in 2008. She said an illness had caused her to lose weight and her hair to fall out. She not have cancer, as many speculated, but had other stuff going on.

In 2009, Zolciak posed for a photo shoot for the NOH8 campaign without one of her infamous wigs.

Kim Zolciak had plans to launch her own wig line. During a 2009 interview with Essence magazine, she said: The name of it is KZ LOKZ, a combination of my first and last name. Well, I'm behind on everything, but ideally, we'd like to see the wigs available and in stores by January 2010. You know, I got a lot of support and people got to see my true colors. I can't carry the negativity with me forever. I'm too old for that.

However, the line still has not launched; and in February 2011 Zolciak took to her official website to tell fans that her wig line is still in the works:

Last summer, Zolciak did, however, launch a jewelry line by Thad Cline.

The reality star and her football player husband are currently expecting baby number two.
