Kourtney Kardashian ‘Very Upset’ With Scott Disick, Hopes Kids Will Help Him Change

Although Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are not on the best of terms, the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star is hoping that her ex-boyfriend will pull himself together for the sake of their children.

It was initially reported that Kardashian did not want Disick around their children because he was abusing alcohol and other substances, but a new report from E! News is claiming that the reality star is hoping their kids will help him make a lifestyle change.

On Thursday, sources told the media outlet that Kardashian realized that keeping Mason,7, Penelope, 4, and Reign, 2, away from their father wasn’t in the children’s “best interest.”

“She wants her kids to have a relationship with him,” the insider revealed. Although she is “still very upset” with Disick over his behavior in Cannes, France, the mother of three doesn’t want to punish her children for their father’s behavior. Instead, the E! star is relying on her three little ones to inspire their father to turn his life around.

“She hopes that by allowing him to see the kids, it will motivate him,” a source revealed.

Kardashian and Disick have seemingly been at odds since the reality star told her ex-boyfriend that she did not want to get back together with him. Disick, who gave up drinking and attempted to treat his former girlfriend with respect, was under the impression that if he changed his ways they could be together again following their 2015 break up.

However, Kardashian was not interested in reconciling the romance and instead began dating model Younes Bendjima. The two eventually traveled to Cannes together were several PDA photos of them began circulating online showing the new couple kissing and cuddling.

Shortly thereafter, Disick took a trip to Cannes where he was seen kissing and flirting with several ladies including Bella Thorne, Chantel Jeffries and had rumored flings Ella Ross and Chloe Bartoli. The reality star was also spotted hanging out with Sofia Richie, although she has insisted that the two are just friends.

Despite his behavior and constant cycling of women, Kardashian wants her kids to spend time with their father, especially since the younger ones miss their dad and love him.

A source revealed that the reality star feels “the right thing to do is to help foster their relationship with him and not stand in the way. Regardless of how she feels about him and the decisions he has made, she does want her kids to have a healthy relationship with their dad.”

Since his wild trip to France in May, Disick was spotted on a sushi date with his daughter on Wednesday. “The kids are the best possible influence on Scott. When is on dad duty and takes them to the movies out to lunch, he is at his best,” an insider revealed.

But will one lunch date with his little girl be enough to change his ways? The reality star is scheduled to head to Las Vegas this weekend for club appearances and considering his behavior in the past, there’s a good chance that the star will draw attention to himself once again due to his wild behavior.

Although Kardashian is hopeful Disick will give up his partying way, it is ultimately up to him to take a step in a new direction.
