Kris Jenner Competing With Daughters Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian In Beauty Brand Space?

Kris Jenner could be joining daughters Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian in the beauty brand space by making her own beauty empire.

Based on documents obtained by E! News recently, the famous momager filed a trademark application for her own beauty line on Feb. 20, 2021. In her filing, Kris is keeping her brand options open by trademarking “Kris Jenner Beauty,” “Kris Jenner Skin” and “Kris Jenner Skincare.”

It’s possible for Kris to launch three separate brands based on the trademarked words. But she could also be putting them under one name. Nevertheless, it’s clear that the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star has a slew of products in mind including skincare solutions, hair care, nail care, fragrances, and cosmetics.

Although Jenner’s move could mean a little competition between her and her daughters, some insiders do not view it this way because it’s highly likely for Kris to partner with Coty Inc., the same company that has multimillion deals with Kylie’s Kylie Skin and Kylie Cosmetics and Kim’s KKW Beauty.

It’s also worth mentioning that Caitlyn Jenner’s ex-wife was actually named the chief executive officer of Kylie Cosmetics last year, so instead of competition, their beauty brands could come up with collaboration products for their fans, according to Us Weekly.

Collaborating on beauty products wouldn’t be new to the 65-year-old mogul, for she and Kim already did KKW x Kris perfume last April and she also had a Mother’s Day collection with Kylie in 2018.

Furthermore, Kris has been an avid fan and the biggest supporter of her daughter’s beauty endeavors as evidenced by her posts on her social media accounts whenever Kylie and Kim introduced, launched and promoted new products.

Kris has yet to comment on her leaked venture, or she could be intentionally keeping her lips tight until an official announcement is made.

The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch’s filing is seen as her next professional move after the announcement last September that their family’s long-running TV series, “KUWTK,” is finally wrapping up after 20 seasons, as per Vanity Fair.
