Kristen Stewart owes a lot of things to the film, “Twilight,” which propelled her to stardom several years ago.

While speaking with E! News, the actress credited the role she played in the movie, as well as all of the other characters she gave life to. “Every part that I’ve ever played has shaped me in such a significant way… I know from an outsider’s perspective you might have something to say about that like in general. But I kind of view it as every other thing I’ve invested in and really loved. And I’m lucky to have had that experience,” she said.

The 27-year-old actress previously told The Hollywood Reporter that there were also some downsides to playing the role of Bella Swan in the “Twilight” series. All of a sudden, Stewart became so popular that she experienced a “lifestyle shift.”

“I did ‘Twilight’ when I was 17, it came out when I was 18 and my life was never even remotely the same,” she said. But in 2015, Stewart said that she never did once regret her decision to star in the project. “A whole lot of other baggage – really heavy and really cool baggage – came along with it,” she said.

Stewart also spoke with Ellen DeGeneres on the “Ellen Show” last year and revealed that she doesn’t jump right back into the memories of starring in “Twilight.” The actress said a similar thing during her recent interview with E! News. “I never really look back at my life and go, ‘What did that mean?’ I got a lot from it and it’s made me who I am,” she said.

But even though Stewart owes part of her career to “Twilight,” the actress also received a lot of hate from fans of the franchise. However, Stewart was never affected by the negative comments. She told The Sunday Times, “I don’t view the whole ‘Twilight’ blow-up as being generally traumatic. It would take someone with a really unhealthy amount of ego to be upset the everyone doesn’t love them.”
