Kristen Stewart A ‘Very Pretty Girl’ Says Rupert Sanders Father, States Cheating Scandal Is A ‘Fuss About Nothing’

Married "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders isn't the only person from his family who has released a statement following his cheating scandal with "Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart. Sanders father, Michael, spoke to People magazine on the "fuss about nothing."

Sanders, 41, and Stewart, 22, were photographed in a couple intimate embraces on July 17, prompting the pair to both release statements apologizing for their infidelities. According to Michael Sanders, the whole cheating scandal is being blown out of proportion.

"From what I gather nothing really happened and it is all a lot of fuss about nothing," he told People. "I should imagine it was something very brief."

While Sanders and Stewart's tryst could have been brief, other pictures and reports surfacing suggest otherwise. People has obtained a photo of the duo at a Berlin café dating back to May 15. While Stewart and Sanders were reportedly within a small group that included co-star Charlize Theron, the photo depicts the two secret lovers looking very cozy with one another.

Sources may insist that Stewart was far from having a "full-blown affair," but a report from RadarOnline suggests that at least two months ago Stewart took Sanders daughter out for ice cream.

"During the press junkets for 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' Kristen was already close to Rupert's kids," a source told RadarOnline. "She treated his eldest daughter to ice cream in Los Angeles when there was a break in her press interviews back in the latter end of May."

Despite the continuous reports coming in on the affair that has reportedly left Robert Pattinson heartbroken, Michael Sanders insists that is son is a "very honorable, hardworking and dedicated father and filmmaker."

"She is a very pretty girl and when you work that closely with someone for so long, sometimes things happen," Rupert Sanders father continued about Kristen Stewart.

Stewart actually worked closely with Sanders wife, Liberty Ross, during the filming of "Snow White and the Huntsman." Ross played Queen Eleanor in the film, Snow White's mother. Ross and Sanders two children can be seen in the film as well. Skyla, 7, and Tennyson, 5, were extras in a final scene of the 2012 hit movie.

Despite the shocking blow that the cheating scandal may have caused to Rupert Sanders family life, his father is optimistic.

"Of course their relationship will survive this," Michael Sanders said of his son's marriage with Ross. "This is nothing - they will definitely survive all of this. It is all a lot of fuss about nothing."

Unfortunately the same cannot be said for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. Although Stewart released an apology, telling Pattinson that she loves him and is sorry, her "Twilight" beau reportedly moved out of their shared Los Angeles home on Thursday.
