Kroy Biermann has legally adopted Kim Zolciak’s children from a previous relationship. In an interview with E! News, the Atlanta Falcons defensive end confirmed he adopted the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star’s two daughters, Brielle, 16, and Ariana, 12.

Since getting hitched with Zolciak, Biermann’s lifestyle has changed significantly, but he seems unphased. "In order to keep balance, you have to have priorities," Biermann told E! News. "Our careers are our priorities, our kids, our health, our happiness. ... Before Kim and before the girls and before the boys, I lived a pretty regimented life. I'd wake up, eat breakfast, go to work, come home. ... It was pretty normal. Now, my house isn't going to be as clean as it was before, but it's not important. Those things are not important, and it's all about prioritizing and understanding."

Zolciak, 35, and Biermann, 27, first met in May 2010 at a charity function in Atlanta. However, the reality TV star stated that she wasn’t looking for a relationship at the time. “I had my daughters, and so if I never got married and didn't have any more kids I was kind of OK," she said. "It wasn't like I was out there going, ‘Oh, my god, my time clock's ticking, I gotta have children, and I gotta do this.' I didn't have that."

Zolciak added that the physical attraction between the two was instantaneous. “When I saw his butt, I have never in my life seen a butt like that," she said. "But again, I didn't really think anything. I just thought, ‘Wow, he's got a really cute butt and a million-dollar smile.' I love big wide smiles. His energy was great, but 'OK, I'm filming, I'm working, I gotta go,' and that was my mindset."

After the couple married, Zolciak told E! News her two daughters approved of Biermann “almost immediately.” The feeling was mutual. "I don't know if I could love anybody else's children as much as Kroy loves the girls," Zolciak said. "I just don't know if I have it in me."

The couple tied the knot in November 2011 and welcomed their first child together, Kroy Jr., in May of that year. Their second son, Kash, was born in August 2012. Us Weekly reports Zolciak is currently pregnant with her fifth child.
