Lady Gaga to donate proceeds from new track to charity

A few weeks ago Lady Gaga released a harmonica-infused version of her top hit Born This Way on her Twitter account. Now, Lady Gaga has released the track for sale and will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales to charity.

MTV.com is reporting that the money earned from sales of Born This Way (Country Road Version) will go to the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which, according to their website, strives to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.

The country version of Born This Way was co-produced by Mother Monster and Fernando Garibay. The song has slightly different lyrics than the original version. If I wanna make it country, baby, it's OK/ 'Cause I was born, I was born, I was born this way/ From London, Paris, Japan back to USA/ I was born on the road, I was born to be brave.
