  • Gaga has been suffering from fibromyalgia since she was young, and she continues to deal with its ups and downs

Lady Gaga has been one of the few celebrities to talk openly about the health issues she has endured in her life. The acclaimed singer recently opened up about her struggles to cope up with her health while suffering from fibromyalgia.

In an interview with Paper Magazine, the 33-year-old singer revealed that she accepted the changes that she went through while going through such a dark period in her life. The “Poker Face” hitmaker also noted that no one feels good every single day.

Gaga also explained that some days are really worse while some days are really amazing and all she can do is to be “grateful” for what she got.

“You have to radically accept that you are not going to feel well every day, maybe a little bit. Some days are worse, some days are not. I can go, ‘Well, my hands work; my arms work; my legs work, even though they are sore; my back works; my brain work; my heart works.’ You can just be grateful for what you can do,” Gaga said.

Recently, the “Stupid Love” songstress opened up about the help she received when she went to a doctor and got to know that “fibromyalgia” is curable through therapy. She also told the audience present at an event she attended that mental health should never be ignored.

“I’ve found through neuropsych research and my relationship with my doctors that fibromyalgia can be treated through mental health therapy. And mental health is a medical condition, it should be treated as a medical condition. It should not be ignored,” Gaga said.

On the professional front, it was reported recently that the interaction between Gaga and Ariana Grande could be hinting at a possible collaboration. Multiple incidents all point toward a musical duet between Grande and Gaga in the near future, possibly for Gaga's upcoming album, "Chromatica," according to Pop Crave.

If an upcoming collab is in the works, it would be the first music Grande will be releasing since her songs featured in the 2019 “Charlie’s Angels” soundtrack, which she co-executive produced, Rolling Stone reported. Gaga is coming on the heels of her latest single “Stupid Love” that was released on Feb. 27.
