Lamar Odom Update: Khloé Kardashian Slammed By Husband's Friends For Dating James Harden, Odom May Be Discharged In 10 Days

Former Los Angeles Lakers star and Khloé Kardashian’s husband Lamar Odom may be released from Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles in less than two weeks, reports said over the weekend, citing doctors at the facility. Odom was found unconscious in a brothel in Las Vegas on Oct. 13 and has tested positive for cocaine use.

"Lamar will be released from the hospital in the next 10 days,” a source said, according to Radar Online Saturday, adding: “It’s uncertain if he will go to a facility to continue physical rehab, or do it as an outpatient."

The report by Radar Online added that Kardashian has been demanding that Odom enter rehab after his discharge to tackle issues of substance abuse, but he has not agreed to do so. “Khloe told Lamar that after he was released from the hospital, he would need to go to rehab for substance abuse addiction. Lamar balked and said no way. … Blaming the hookers for his overdose, Lamar is still insisting he doesn’t have a drug problem. He is still in denial.”

Another report Sunday by Radar Online said that Odom’s friends have slammed Kardashian for not getting back together with Odom, despite cancelling the divorce. Reports last week had claimed that Kardashian, 31, was still dating Houston Rockets player James Harden and had even visited him in Houston, Texas, to watch a basketball game he was playing.

"Lamar's closest friends and family have been really mad at Khloe since she convinced him to stop their divorce," a source told Radar Online, adding: "The fact that Khloe can call the shots about Lamar while she is still with James is ridiculous!"

"She shouldn't have anything to do with Lamar's medical or financial decisions."

"Lamar is doing better but he's not great yet. He will have setbacks in the hospital but he is making great improvements too," the source continued, adding: "So Khloe's trip to see James was a slap in the face to Lamar."

"She clearly isn't concerned about Lamar if she's off with her boyfriend, who she has always been in contact with while Lamar professed his love to her. So why does she still have control over Lamar?" the source said, adding: "Everyone around him is really mad at her and they're hoping to get him to see that she shouldn't be in control of anything for him.

"She has no business being in charge of Lamar."

Odom, 35, and Kardashian filed for divorce in December 2013 and signed the papers in this July. However, amid Odom's ongoing medical, Kardashian got the divorce dismissed.
