Leah Messer-Calvert Rehab Update: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Returns From Treatment After Rumored Drug Problem: Report
“Teen Mom 2” star Leah Messer-Calvert finished a stint in rehab, Radar Online reported Monday. The mother of three spent a month in recovery to treat stress and depression, but battled rumors that she has a drug problem.
The reality star didn’t tweet while she was in rehab, but once she came home she flooded her Twitter page with posts and pictures about her three daughters: Adalynn, 2, whom she had with second husband Jeremy Calvert; and twins Ali and Aleeah, 5, whom she had with first husband Corey Simms.
All the girls wore pink for the picture, but Adalynn might take after big sister Ali. Both girls wore Spongebob shirts and smiled widely for the camera. She captioned the photo “Blessed mommy.” The photo was shared and liked by her fans hundreds of times.
Next on her social media agenda was to share sayings from the Twitter account “Motivational Quotes.” “Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you've ever been, to stand up taller than you than you ever were,” one message read. “Life is too short to waste one single second with someone who doesn't appreciate and value you,” a different post said.
Messer-Calvert’s divorce from husband Calvert was finalized while she was in rehab, Radar Online wrote, which could explain the cryptic tweets. Calvert reportedly has a new girlfriend, Brooke Wehr, but she won’t be featured on the reality show because “he doesn’t want TV to ruin the relationship,” an insider told the news site in a different article.
“Brooke won’t be appearing on the show, not even a quick cameo,” an insider said. “He learned his lesson from his crazy marriage to Leah.”
Though Messer-Calvert hasn’t addressed her alleged drug problems on social media, the sneak-peak trailer for the new season of “TM2” shows the star worrying about being accused of “being an unfit mother, abusing drugs.” The all-new season of “TM2” will premiere on MTV Thursday, July 9 at 10 p.m. EDT.
