Lisa Vanderpump, Lance Bass, Mario Lopez Celebrate At The First Annual Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala
The 1st annual Vanderpump Dog Foundation gala at the Taglyan Cultural Complex in Hollywood Thursday saw celebrities including Lisa Vanderpump, who enjoyed dinner and dancing, and participated in live and silent auctions that included luxury items ranging from a three-night stay in Cabo to rescued puppies. Mario Lopez served as the evening's host, with special performances by Leona Lewis and Eric Benet.
Lance Bass accepted the Hero Dog Award at the First Annual Vanderpump Foundation Gala and Leona Lewis performed Vanderpump Dogs' official foundation original song, “Home.” The night also included a performance by Eric Benet and a surprise special dance performance of “Who Let the Dogs Out” and “You Ain’t Nothing But A Hound Dog” by "Dancing With The Stars" pros.
A number of Bravo stars came out for the event including "Vanderpump Rules" cast members Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute, Brittany Cartwright, Scheanna Shay, Stassi Schroeder, Peter Madrigals, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Tom Schwartz and James Kennedy, "Real Housewives" cast members Gretchen Rossi, Slade Smiley, Taylor Armstrong and Kyle Richards and "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles" cast members David Parnes and James Harris.
The Vanderpump Dog Foundation is a West Hollywood nonprofit, whose mission is to provide a more humane world for dogs worldwide. The gala helped raise funds to acquire resources for the 5 x 10 Campaign; to medically treat, groom, feed, adopt and transport 10 rescue dogs from China into loving, permanent homes; the Rescue and Transport Van in Los Angeles County ,and the building of adoption centers in Shenzhen, China, and West Hollywood.
The Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala was presented by Collide, BHPS and Wen.
