WWE Hall of Famer Lita, also known in real life as Amy Dumas, had her share of highs with the promotion at her peak.

Storylines are part of any WWE star’s rise although some scripts are a bit extreme.

Most will remember Lita as one of the WWE Divas who brought spunk when called on to perform. But there was one part of her run that most will recall, particularly that relationship angle she had with Edge.

One of the controversial memories at that time was the hot, unbridled sex in the middle of the ring following the Rated-R superstar’s WWE title win over John Cena at the WWE pay-per-view, New Year’s Revolution, in January 2006.

It appeared to be an odd scene especially considering that WWE had its share of young fans. Lita came out to speak on that live sex celebration segment and said that it was something she did not want to do.

The 45-year-old made the revelation via Twitch and added that she was threatened to be fired if she did not agree.

It would be best to note as well that Lita was not the only one who was against the segment. Edge and John Cena were not cool with it, but the management went on with it since CEO Vince McMahon liked the idea.

The plans went on, but things just turned negative for the former WWE Women’s Champion. She even won her third Women’s Championship before she gained negative acceptance from fans.

While these are things that a heel wrestler would normally deal with, Lita just could not bear it.

She lost her final match and the women’s title to Mickie James at Survivor Series of that year.

Lita did make special appearances in 2007, but things were never the same. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014 by her best friend Trish Stratus.

While that issue may be part of her decision to retire, Lita did have her share of injuries as well, something most WWE performers endure.

However, her revelation casts a dark shroud on her career and it remains to be seen if WWE or even McMahon himself will respond to her claims.
