Zach Roloff and Tori Roloff opened up about their hopes for their family after enduring a painful loss earlier this year.
In a new interview, the "Little People, Big World" stars revealed they still plan to add to their brood after suffering a miscarriage in March, but they are not in a rush.
"I think that we’re still hopeful that one day we will get to have another baby," Tori told Us Weekly Thursday. "And until then, we’re just kind of happy where we are."
The 30-year-old professional photographer added that they are not closing their doors on adoption. In fact, it is "definitely" on the table for her and her 31-year-old husband, according to Tori.
"I’ve always thought parents that have the heart for adoption or for foster care, I respect and adore them. I think those parents are amazing. It’s not something we’ve necessarily talked about, but those parents that do do that, I think it’s incredible," Zach said.
The TLC stars are already parents to son Jackson, 4, and daughter Lilah, 19 months. The couple joked that their son doesn't ask for more siblings because he doesn't want to "share" his parents.
They shared that the toddler had been aware that Tori was pregnant when she suffered pregnancy loss earlier this year. But the family has not talked about it since, and Jackson stayed with his grandfather and enjoyed "a lot of farm time," according to Zach.
Tori said the loss was "definitely the hardest thing" she's ever gone through, but she chose to remain grateful and considers herself "blessed."
"It was pretty traumatic. But I have two happy, healthy, beautiful kids I get to love on every single day. That’s what I’m trying to remind myself. I’m still blessed for sure," she told the outlet.
In March, Tori shared the heartbreaking news of her pregnancy loss on Instagram. She shared a photo that featured flowers and a cross-stitch project showing her, her husband Zach and their two kids. It also included a positive pregnancy test.
"We were so excited to share some exciting news this week. We were so excited when we found out we were expecting baby #3, and we couldn’t wait to share. We went in for our first ultrasound at 8 weeks and found out that we lost our sweet baby two weeks earlier," Tori wrote.
She continued, "I’ve honestly never felt loss like I did in that moment. I’ve never felt so sad, angry, and scared in a single moment. I had no symptoms of losing out sweet angel baby and nothing could have prepared me for hearing our sweet baby was gone."
Tori thanked the people who showered her with love and support at the time. She also called her husband her "unwavering rock" and said she remains grateful that they have "two happy healthy thriving kids."
