Minnie appeared on several seasons of the Lifetime reality series and was close friends with her co-stars, Andrea and Amanda Salinas. Although she had several feuds with Shirlene “Ms. Juicy” King Pearson, the former radio personality was one of several cast members who paid tribute to Minnie on Instagram.
On Tuesday, Juicy took to Instagram to share an image with the words, “This is too much!!!!!” written across it.
“Prayers for Minnie’s family!!!” Juicy captioned the post.
Meanwhile, Minnie’s close friend, Amanda, shared several photos of her co-star and wrote a heartfelt post about Minnie’s death after the news broke. “As I’m writing this I’m in tears I can’t believe it my Minnie !!!! Why did they take you away from us !!!! WHY!!!!! It always seems like we have all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it really is,” she captioned the post.

The “Little Women: Atlanta” star wrapped up the post by saying a sad goodbye to her friend. “I still can’t believe this man why man why!!!! I love you so much !!!! My heart is broken. Rest In Peace, my love.”
Amanda’s twin, Andrea, was just as heartbroken over Minnie’s death. “Minnie why did you have to leave us so soon !!.?? You were such a great friend / mama bear to us since the day we meet in LA To film the pilot shoot for the show omg I can’t believe this!! We are going to MISS YOU may you Rest In Peace my Minnie,” she captioned a photo of Minnie.
Minnie’s rep revealed the star’s death in a statement on Instagram. “It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka ‘Ms. Minnie’ of ‘Little Women: Atlanta’ has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time,” the statement read.
Although the rep’s initial statement claimed the Lifetime star died following a hit and run incident, police reportedly suspect Minnie may have lost control of her car. Cops investigating the accident told TMZ that Minnie lost control of her Nissan Sentra and veered into opposing traffic.
Police believe that she hit a Ford Focus, and the driver suffered minor injuries. Following the accident, Minnie was transported to the hospital, where she died around 24 hours later.
