Dreams are finally coming true in 2020. Not only are Starbucks fans getting to have their first sips of Pumpkin Spice Lattes earlier than ever this year, but those who love Lucky Charms cereal are soon going to have a chance to indulge in the best part of the product—the marshmallows.

Lucky Charms shared a look on Instagram at their new “Just Magical Marshmallows” treat, which is set to come out in a few weeks' time and will feature solely the marshmallows that most kids remember growing up when they would eat Lucky Charms cereal. It’s unclear exactly when they will be on store shelves, but they are being touted as a limited time occurrence.

According to People Magazine, it will also only be available in select stores, and the 6 oz. Pouch is expected to retail for $3.99, though the cost may vary.

All eight of the designs that make up the marshmallows from the cereal will be featured in the pouch.

The news of the release took fans by storm as they shared their excitement in the comments section of the Instagram post.

“I’m literally buying these,” one fan wrote.

“NOW THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT,” another added.

“My childhood dream coming true,” another shared.

The popularity of the idea that Lucky Charms could consist of just marshmallows has also appeared in pop culture references as well. In a Season 3 episode of “Glee” back in 2011, the introduction of foreign-exchange student Rory Flanagan (Damian McGinty) led to Brittany (Heather Morris), who believed he was a leprechaun, to ask him to give her a box of Lucky Charms that only featured marshmallows.

It also isn’t the first time General Mills, which makes Lucky Charms, has released a marshmallow-only edition. In 2017, as part of a sweepstakes, they released 10,000 novelty boxes with only marshmallows in them.
