Luis Ruelas' Ex-Wife Breaks Silence On Her Relationship With 'RHONJ' Star Teresa Giudice

Luis Ruelas' ex-wife Marisa Dimartino Ruelas has nothing but kind words to say about his new wife, Teresa Giudice.

Dimartino Ruelas met Giudice twice before the reality star's wedding to the businessman in August. They reunited over the weekend for Dimartino Ruelas and Ruelas' son Louie's birthday. It was the first time the two women got to know each other better.

"She's very nice," Dimartino Ruelas told Page Six, adding that the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star "couldn't have been more accommodating and respectful."

The blended families spent an extended amount of time in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where they enjoyed a game of Top Golf, a steak dinner, Sebastian Maniscalco's comedy show and, later on, a nightclub at the Borgata, according to the outlet.

"Everything was cordial," Dimartino Ruelas told the outlet of their weekend celebrations.

She noted that she and her ex-husband didn't talk much but that she had some friendly exchanges with Giudice.

"[Giudice] told me that she loves [my kids] just like they were her own," Dimartino Ruelas revealed. "My son, he really had nothing but good things to say about her as well."

The full-time caretaker also shared two moments that stood out to her during the celebration.

When they were about to cut the cake, Giudice suggested to DiMartino Ruelas, "Why don't you go and stand behind your son?" for a photo-op — a gesture that the latter described as "really nice."

DiMartino Ruelas also shared that the Bravo personality and her "RHONJ" co-star Jennifer Aydin, who joined them for the occasion, made sure to ask Dimartino Ruelas if she was comfortable coming out in the background of any social media videos they planned to post.

Dimartino Ruelas admitted that it took her years to feel comfortable hanging out with her ex.

Giudice and Ruelas started dating in 2020, and during that time, his alleged dysfunctional relationships with his exes made headlines.

Dimartino Ruelas admitted that her relationship with her ex wasn't always in a good place but said that it got better a year and a half ago. She added that they only talk when it concerns co-parenting matters.

As for Giudice, Dimartino Ruelas learned to embrace the reality star in her life because she knew that marrying her ex-husband would mean Giudice would also be part of their children's lives.

"Once they got married, I thought, 'This woman is a part of my children's lives,'" DiMartino Ruelas told Page Six. "I can't be totally out of the picture, you know, it's not right for my children. I'm doing this only for my children."

Giudice's ex-husband, Joe Giudice, also had nothing but praise for Ruelas.

"I'm very happy for her. She deserves all the happiness in the world," Joe told Us Weekly. "I think Lou is a good guy. Anything negative being said out there are just rumors that I don't engage in. Until I personally discover otherwise, he's OK in my book."

Joe and Teresa share four daughters, Gia, 21, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12.
