Lupita Nyong'o, Julia Roberts, Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet Glam Up Lancome 80th-Anniversary Party
Lancôme celebrated its 80th anniversary in Paris and invited all its past brand ambassadors to grace the occasion. The comestic company's four Oscar-winning ambassadors: Lupita Nyong'o, Julia Roberts, Penelope Cruz and Kate Winslet all attended the gala Lancôme "WÔW" 80th-anniversary party in the City of Light on Tuesday and posed for pictures.
The party was held during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, which kicked off on Monday. Most celebs were spotted wearing black for the party. Present was Penelope Cruz, who has been a brand ambassador for five years. It was the first time that the actress was seen publicly since her father's death June 18. Cruz showed off her curves in a figure-hugging black Emilio Pucci gown with a spectacular train. The “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” actress showed off her long legs in sheer black lace gathers.
Nyong'o, Oscar winner for "12 Years a Slave," looked glamorous in a shimmering Prada gown in black and silver, while Roberts went for a semi-formal look. The "Pretty Woman" actress looked sexy in a shorts suit in black. Meanwhile, “Titanic” actress Winslet looked chic in an Azzedine Alaia little black dress. Actress Isabelli Rossellini also was at the party wearing a black tuxedo.
“When I first heard it, it was a long time ago, but it seems like yesterday,” said Rossellini, who has worked for Lancôme’s Trésor fragrance advertising, WWD wrote. “I will never stop loving it.”
Other stars present were Lily Collins, Daria Werbowy, Chrissy Teigen and her husband John Legend, Michelle Rodriguez and Alma Jodorowsky. Celebrities who wore red color for the occasion were models Lily Donaldson and Petra Nemcova and Australian singer Kylie Minogue.
Françoise Lehmann, general manager of Lancôme International, said he wanted the 80th anniversary of the brand to be “a big party, celebrating all that Lancôme stands for -- generosity, French joie de vivre, happiness and also effortless French chic.”
