Rapper Mac Miller was set to perform at the Sasquatch and Soundset music festivals this weekend, but following the bombing at girlfriend Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester, England, on Monday, Miller has pulled out of the shows.

The “My Favorite Part” rapper took to Twitter on Friday to make the announcement. “Soundset and Sasquatch, I will not be performing this weekend. Thank you for understanding,” Miller said, before promising to return at a later date. “I’ll be back. Love always.”

While Mac Miller didn’t reveal the reason for pulling out of the show, it’s been assumed by fans that the rapper is spending time with Grande after the horrific incident at Manchester Arena. On Tuesday, Miller was pictured greeting Grande at the airport in her hometown of Boca Raton, Florida, where the singer flew back to following the bombing that killed 22 attendees.

“He has been there for her during this time and is the best,” a source for E! News said. “She loves him and her family likes him as well.” Along with Miller, Grande is spending time with her parents and brother Frankie Grande.

The singer has since suspended the remainder of her Dangerous Woman tour until further notice. “Due to the tragic events in Manchester the Dangerous Woman tour with Ariana Grande has been suspended until we can further assess the situation and pay our proper respects to those lost,” a statement from the singer’s camp read.

“We ask at this time that we all continue to support the city of Manchester and all those families affected by this cowardice and senseless act of violence,” it continued. “Our way of life has once again been threatened but we will overcome this together.”

Since the attack, Grande has kept a low profile and is understandably shocked by the incident. Following the event, a statement from her team was released. “Tonight, our hearts are broken. Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and families harmed in this senseless attack,” it read.

Having dated since 2016, Grande said she knew Miller was the one since she was 19 years old. “I met him when I was 19. We have loved and adored and respected each other since the beginning, since before we even met, just because we were fans of each other’s talent,” Grande, 23, previously told Cosmopolitan. “We weren’t ready at all, though, to be together. It’s just timing. We both needed to experience some things, but the love has been there the whole time.”

Since collaborating in 2013, Grande dated other men during the time but ultimately ended up back with the Pittsburgh rapper. “I’ve never looked at love as something that I need to complete me. I would like to be complete on my own first and fall in love with somebody who is also complete,” she said. “You can still celebrate and be totally obsessed with each other, but I want to feel a hundred percent myself so that I can love that person better.”
