Many celebs defended Britney Spears amid her ongoing conservatorship battle and Madonna is another big name to join the long list of celebrity supporters.

Madonna, 62, shared an Instagram Story Thursday, posing concern and showing support for Spears. The "Justify My Love" singer added a photo of herself wearing a white outfit that had "Britney Spears" written in purple.

"Give this woman her life back," Madonna wrote on the photo. "Slavery was abolished so long ago! Death to the greedy patriarchy that has been doing this to women for centuries. This is a violation of human rights! Britney we coming to Get you out of jail!"

On the same day, Spears also asked her critics to "kiss my a--" by sharing a quote on Instagram. It seems the pop star shared this post following the negative comments she received after posting a topless photo on Instagram Wednesday.

It wasn't the first time when Madonna supported Spears. In 2000, she also wore a black t-shirt with Britney Spears' name written on it during one of her concerts.

Madonna and Spears also collaborated in 2003 for "Me Against the Music." They also shared a kiss on stage during their MTV Video Music Awards performance in 2003 with Christina Aguilera.

In Spears' documentary, "For the Record," which dropped in 2008, Madonna said, "There's a certain fragility about her and vulnerability about her that makes me feel maternal towards her. There are aspects about her that I recognize in myself when I first started out in my career. I also admire her talent as an artist."

The recent support came after Spears gave testimony during her court hearing on June 23, last month. She requested to end her conservatorship and slammed her family. According to the claims Spears made, she was asked to work under intense conditions and take birth control.

Since then, celebrities like Paris Hilton, Aguilera, and even her ex Justin Timberlake have come forward to express their support to Spears.

On the personal front, Spears is currently dating Sam Asghari. The couple first met on the sets of the "Slumber Party" music video from "Glory" music album which dropped in 2016.
