Mama June’s Nemesis Jennifer Lamb Taking Over Show Following Reality Star’s Arrest?

Mama June Shannon is on the down low ever since her scandalous arrest with boyfriend Geno Doak was leaked by the press. And while she’s out of the public eye, her nemesis, Jennifer Lamb, could be stealing her spotlight.

Ahead of “From Not To Hot” Season 3’s premiere, it was already revealed that the new installment is going to feature a weight loss showdown between Mama June and Jennifer. One trailer that WE tv released even teased of a shocking makeover, but it does not show if it’s Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s mom or Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson’s wife.

Based on Jenifer’s latest instagram post, however, it’s clear that the producers are rooting for Honey Boo Boo’s stepmom to reach her weight loss goals. Jennifer apparently shared a screenshot of a scene featuring her solo-cam moment on the show, and she’s looking a bit thinner than before.

“Thank you to everyone for all the encouraging messages about my weight loss. I am truly feeling great and I’m excited to show you my BIG REVEAL this season,” Jennifer wrote alongside hashtags that tease about her revenge body, such as #weightloss, #transformation, #makeover and #TEAMJENNIFER.

Many fans of the show quickly voiced their support for Jennifer and they also praised her for taking on the weight loss showdown seriously. Others also pointed out how she’s being misinterpreted on the reality series for ratings.

“Losing weight is so hard to do. So yes you deserve a lot of credit for going through this weight loss!! Keep up the good work!!!” one fan wrote.

“So happy for you! You look great. I know the show tries to portray you sometimes mean because of ratings but I see past it. You have a good heart,” another commented.

Mama June and Geno were arrested on March 13 for drug-related charges. They were released shortly after, but Mama June has yet to update her fans regarding the issue. As for Geno, he recently broke his silence and flipped off haters who have been attacking him and spreading rumors about how he treats his children online.

Meanwhile, Mama June’s daughter, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, has been filling in for the troubled reality star. She’s been promoting the series with younger sister Alana and she just recently released a statement to address the controversy involving her mother.

The statement was aired before episode 2 started last Friday. However, it does not appear on the online version of the episode that is available to stream on WE tv’s website.
