Following this, police checked the CCTV footage from the area and identified the man as Abdul Rehman. Police then went to his home and detained him for questioning. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime as said he killed his wife, Reshma Pathan, last week and dismembered her. Police confirmed that they found the remaining body parts in the home and took the accused into custody. The investigation to find out the reason behind the crime is on.
