In a bizarre incident, a man released a snake inside a gas station owner’s office after he was refused fuel by the employees. The incident took place in the western Indian state of Maharashtra.

Video of the incident posted on Instagram by digital video publisher, Brut, showed the unidentified man entering one of the cabins with a jar and then emptying it. The gas station owner can be seen keeping her cool and walking out of the cabin slowly as the reptile slithers under some furniture kept in a corner.

According to reports, the man released a total of five snakes into three different cabins, out of which, two were cobras. The man fled the scene and a snake catcher was called to remove the reptiles.

The man reportedly unleashed the snakes after the gas station workers refused to give him petrol in a can. A case has since been filed against the man.

The video of the incident, which was posted Monday, has since gone viral and received over 33,000 likes. Several people took to the comments section to praise the gas station owner for staying calm.

"Hats off to that lady to walk away so calmly!" one person wrote.

"Damn look at how cool she was," wrote another.

Many users showed their anger against the man for his "revenge."

"What kind of revenge is this ....he should be ashamed of this," one person wrote.

"Why using animals for revenge?!! He might have the snakes killed," wrote another.

In another bizarre incident that took place in the Indian state of Gujarat last year, a man bit a snake back after being bitten by the reptile. The snake bit 70-year-old Parvat Gala Baria, while he was working on his field. The man, in a fit of rage, bit it back. The reptile died on the spot, while Baria was rushed to a nearby hospital by a witness where he died.

"He grabbed the snake which retaliated by biting him on the hands and face. However, Parvat bit back and killed the snake too,” the village head said.
