Marla Maples shared a shocking statement about Donald Trump after their divorce.

According to previous reports, Ivana Trump’s marriage with Donald fell apart after he started an affair with the model. Ivana and Donald Trump divorced and he went on to marry Maples. However, their union didn’t last long either since they separated after four years.

In a past interview, Maples shared a shocking statement about the POTUS. According to her, Donald was not her ideal husband.

“Donald was never the man I wanted to marry,” she told The Telegraph. “He and his world were alien to me. I’m so happy to be away from Donald, and I’m just trying to move as far away as I can.”

On his part, Donald said that he was “very happy” following their split. Donald and Maples had a prenup agreement before they tied the knot. The businessman-turned-politician was wary following his divorce with Ivana because it became a legal battle.

Ivana and Donald agreed on a $14 million divorce settlement. He ended up giving Ivana their Greenwich estate and agreed to pay $650,000 annually for their three children Donald Jr., ivana and Eric. At that point, Donald wanted to make sure that Maples could not come after his money.

Donald and Ivana’s prenup only stated that he would pay his wife $1 million if they separated within five years. He will give him another $1 million to buy a house and offered $100,000 child support for their daughter Tiffany when she turned 21.

Also, he made an extensive confidentiality agreement forbidding Maples from publishing any “diary, memoir, letter, story, photograph, interview, article, essay, account or description or depiction of any kind whatsoever, whether fictionalized or not, concerning the details of the parties’ marriage.”

According to Roul Felder, a divorce lawyer, the way Donald and Maples prenup was drawn up was “ironclad.” It only showed that Donald was wary and was leaving nothing to chance.

Meanwhile, Ivanka has a “tension-filled” relationship with Maples. Although she gained a stepmother, she didn’t attend their wedding and opted to stay at home with her mom during her dad’s second nuptials. Ivanka insisted that she is not close with Maples and her relationship is only with her half-sister Tiffany.
