‘Married at First Sight’ Season 9: Is Matt Cheating On Amber? New Accusations

“Married at First Sight” Season 9 has been dramatic, but it looks like the biggest shock is coming next week. The promo video for episode 13 reveals that Matt Gwynne will be accused of cheating on wife Amber Bowles.

The trailer, which aired at the end of Wednesday’s episode, showed Amber sitting down with a friend. He wants to warn Amber about what Matt was doing on one of his many nights out.

“The other night, I was out at a bar and I saw Matt with another girl,” he says. “It didn’t look good.” Amber breaks down crying.

In Wednesday’s “Married at First Sight,” Amber admitted to the other women that she thought Matt “absolutely” had commitment issues. She also worried that all the things he was saying to other couples about putting work into their relationship didn’t match up with his actions. Does she see this coming or will she still be blindsided by the accusation of adultery?

Amber and Matt have been having plenty of issues on the Lifetime reality show, and fans have speculated that Matt could be cheating on his wife. The biggest problem is that Matt likes to go out without Amber. The first time he didn’t come home, he left his wedding ring at home, later claiming he forgot to wear it. That act alone sparked suspicion among viewers.

In an episode of “Unfiltered,” it seemed like Elizabeth Bice hinted that Matt cheated. “At that moment, like, just taking off your wedding ring and then ‘allegedly’ forgetting to put it back on, you don’t forget to put your wedding ring back on! You knew you were doing something,” she said in the Aug. 14 episode.

The talk show was filmed after “Married at First Sight” filming wrapped. It seems like Beth may have known about the infidelity accusations. At the very least, she had her suspicions.

“You sure took your wedding ring off and then went out and didn’t come home,” she said. “One plus one equals two. That’s not cute. It’s not a cute look.”
