'Marry Go Round' Hallmark Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
Hallmark Channel is continuing its lineup of Fall movies with the newest premiere, "Marry Go Round." The film, starring Amanda Schull and Brennan Elliott, debuts Saturday night.
The movie is set to be a treat for fans, as it will reunite them with two familiar faces. Schull has previously starred in the Hallmark Channel film "Love, Once and Always," as well as the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries projects, "Projects Christmas Wish" and "One Summer." Fans may also recognize her from memorable roles outside of Hallmark, which included Katie Ryan/Sara Evans on "One Tree Hill" and Katrina Bennett on "Suits."
Elliott, of course, is very familiar to Hallmark fans, as his more recent projects on the network have seen him star in several different films. Past roles have included the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries "Crossword Mysteries" series, as well as the films "Christmas at Grand Valley" and "Christmas Encore." On Hallmark Channel, he is known for the "All of My Heart" films, "All Summer Long," "Christmas in Vienna," "Open By Christmas" and "The Perfect Pairing."
Zak Santiago ("Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made") and Mary-Beth Manning ("Black Monday") also star.
So what can fans expect in this film? Let's find out.
"Abby Foster (Schull) and Luke Walker (Elliott) were high school sweethearts and had a short-lived marriage after high school," a synopsis reads. "Many years later, Abby is a successful executive who is planning to move to Paris with her fiance, Edward Timsdale (Santiago). Everything in her life seems to be perfect. That is, until she gets a letter explaining her divorce to Luke is not exactly official."
In order to move forward with her life, Abby has to head home, but unfortunately, getting what she needs won't be as easy as she thinks.
"When Abby arrives back in her hometown for a heart hearing, she runs into Luke and quickly learns he has no intention on finalizing this divorce anytime soon," the synopsis states.
However, Abby soon also learns some surprising reasons why things all worked out the way they did, which forces her to reconsider whether the life she has or the life of her past are the ones she wants.
"Emily (Manning), Abby's mother, finally reveals a secret she has been keeping from her daughter that explains what really happened so many years ago," the synopsis continues. "Abby now has a choice to make. Does she face the truth about what she has always felt for Luke or stick to the plan when she thought her life was so perfect?"
"Marry Go Round" airs Saturday, Sept. 10 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
