‘Masked Singer’ Season 2 Premiere Spoilers: Two Celebrity Reveals, Contestant Clues [Recap]

Fox’s breakout hit musical competition series, “The Masked Singer,” is back, and two out of the 16 costumed celebrities have already been revealed!

Nick Cannon is back as the show’s host, while Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke are all once again judge-commentators. In the Season 2 premiere Wednesday night, new costumes were introduced, with all-new competing celebrities hiding inside.

At the end of the two-hour premiere episode, two contestants were voted off and their famous faces unmasked.

Who were the big celebrity reveals of “The Masked Singer” episode 1?

Egg, who sang “Just Dance” by Lady Gaga and “One Way or Another” by Blondie, and Ice Cream, who sang “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X and “Whip It” by Devo, were sent home, but they didn’t leave without taking off their masks, unveiling their true identities.

Who is the Egg? That would be none other than Olympic figure skater and fashion designer Johnny Weir!

What about Ice Cream? Professional gamer, streamer and YouTuber Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was under the mask!
