Season 2 of Fox’s “The Masked Singer” just started a few weeks ago, but it’s already going on a short hiatus.

The costume-filled music competition series is four episodes into its new season, and it’ll stay that way for a little while longer because it’s not airing a new episode tonight because of Game 2 of the World Series.

The 2019 Major League Baseball event, between the Nationals and Astros, kicked off last night with Game 1, where the Nationals beat the Astros 5-4, and it’ll continue tonight with Game 2 on Fox at 8 p.m. EDT, which is normally when “The Masked Singer” airs on the network.

An official return date for the Fox show is not yet known because it’s all up to how the World Series plays out.

If no team has won four games by the time Game 6 finishes on Tuesday, Game 7 will have to be played the night of Wednesday, Oct. 30 to determine the winner of the World Series. If this is the case, “The Masked Singer” will be delayed until Wednesday, Nov. 6. If Game 7 is not necessary, it’s likely “The Masked Singer” will return on Oct. 30 instead.

Until the show comes back with its next new episode, Fox is giving everyone a chance to catch up on all of the performances, clues and big reveals that have been shown so far in Season 2 with a marathon of the first four episodes on Twitter and YouTube today, starting at 3 p.m. EDT. The episodes are also available on Hulu for subscribers.
