Is Master P Getting Flirty With Salt-N-Pepa Rapper ‘Pepa’ Denton?

Is there a budding romance between Master P and Salt-N-Pepa rapper Sandy “Pepa” Denton?

In “Grow Up Hip Hop” Season 3, episode 2 Master P dropped by Denton’s dressing room before she graced the stage with her group for the “I Love the 90s” tour. They even snuggled for a hug, which made Denton’s daughter, Egypt Criss,believed that the rap mogul had a crush on her mom.

“I grew up being a Salt-N-Pepa fan,” Master P, 47, said in a solo interview, Entertainment Tonight reported. “Pepa is a great spirit. This is a beautiful woman that has a great heart.” Meanwhile, Denton expressed her surprise for his advances. “I didn’t even know he was going to come. I’m glad he showed up,” she said in a solo confessional.

Denton, 50, was married to Treach in 1999, but they divorced in 2001. She has two children. Aside from daughter, Egypt Criss, 18, she has a son, Tyran, 26. As a mom, she is very open to her children. She admitted that she was a victim of sexual abuse but opted to suffer it in silence because she was not comfortable talking about it with her parents. So she made sure that when it was her time to be a mom, she would make herself very open to them, so that they could tell her about anything. She also talked the issue with her daughter to make her feel that the topic is not a taboo.

“Because of the molestation I experienced as a child, I feel nervous for [Egypt], so I make sure to ask her those questions…” she said in her autobiography “Let’s Talk About Pep” (via People). “I always have to tell her that she has to tell me if anyone bothers her, and that I won’t be mad at her because I love her, because silence kills and people who abuse depend on their victim’s silence as a tool to continue to victimize others.”

Meanwhile, in 2016, Master P lost against his wife, Sonya Miller, in a court battle. The judge ordered Master P to hand his $825,000 salary for “Master P’s Family Empire” Season 2 to Miller for child and spousal support, TMZ reported.
