Mathew Knowles Says His Daughter Beyoncé's Marriage Is Not On Rocks
Beyoncé’s dad has slammed rumours that her marriage to Jay Z is on the rocks. Mathew Knowles was quick to come to the defence of his daughter against recent rumors that she is heading for a split from her rapper husband Jay Z.
"You don't even know half that stuff!" he told Heat magazine and insisted that the false claims "don't mean anything" to the singer. "I don't have time to read it but that stuff doesn't mean anything to Beyoncé. I’m so proud of her she's surrounded by a wonderful team who I trained," he said. Knowles added that Beyoncé will make mistakes and learn from them, as everyone does, Mirror UK reported.
The couple itself was keen to rubbish the rumors with a series of loved up social media posts recently. Over the weekend, the "Drunk In Love" singer shared another picture of her husband kissing her while they enjoyed a holiday.
In a section of the media, it was reported that Beyoncé was planning a split and that the power couple were no longer happy. One magazine pointed to the fact the singer had not given an interview for more than 18 months , including her recent cover with Vogue for its September issue. But, her father confirmed that they were happy.
Mathew Knowles also opened up about his daughter’s rise to stardom, and finally confirmed there will be a Destiny’s Child reunion and an album. The 63-year-old told Heat that he has spoken to Michelle Williams about it.
In another development, Knowles rubbished claims that he is using his famous daughter’s superstar status to make money. The former Destiny’s Child manager will be hosting a one-day bootcamp, "The Entertainment Industry: How Do I Get In."
He will share tips from his 20 years of experience on how to make it in the music business. Knowles has already got concrete plans to take his seminar to Macon, Georgia, next month and Rochester, New York, at the top of 2016, Page Six reported. He is also booking events in New York City, Washington, DC, Baltimore and Norfolk, Virginia, in the near future.
