‘Meet The Tuckers’: Kandi Burruss And Todd Tucker Rumored To Be Filming Second Bravo Spinoff
After the success of their initial “Real Housewives” spin-off, “Kandi’s Wedding,” it appears Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are back at it with a brand new series. According to Reality TV Magazine, the show, which is tentatively titled "Meet The Tuckers," will focus on their journey to adjust to life as a married couple as well as the on-going rift between Todd and Kandi’s mother, Mama Joyce.
As most “Real Housewives of Atlanta” fans know, Kandi and Todd began having marital issues just a few short months after jumping the broom. The couple sought out marriage counseling to work on intimacy issues, as well as a bit of jealousy on Kandi’s end. During the sessions Kandi revealed that, although she and Todd were hoping to have a baby of their own, they were not sleeping together nearly enough to make that a reality. She also shared that she had previously believed her husband may be going outside their marriage during business trips to Los Angeles. Despite the severity of Kandi’s claims, Todd was not receptive to the doctor’s advice. The couple continued to struggle with their various issues as the show's seventh season played out, but appear to be making it work.
Neither Kandi nor Todd has confirmed the spinoff, but a recent tweet from the Grammy award winning song writer got fans wondering – could “Meet the Tuckers” really be happening? The 38-year-old revealed that she was doing interviews for a “new show,” but shared no details as to who or what the show may involve. She also posted a photo of herself in full hair and makeup in front of a green screen, further fueling speculation.
According to The YBF, a source from Straight From The A said that, much like “Kandi’s Wedding,” this show will be just four episodes long. There are currently no other details about the series, but it is believed that Kandi and family are currently in the process of filming.
