Megan Fox has officially filed for divorce from estranged husband Brian Austin Green days after she attended the American Music Awards with new boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly.
The “Jennifer’s Body” star filed the documents in a Los Angeles court Wednesday and asked for joint custody of her and Green’s three kids: Noah Shannon, 8, Bodhi Ransom, 6, and Journey River, 4, TMZ reported. Fox also wanted the ability to forestall spousal support for both of them.
Green reportedly agreed to the terms, but he wanted spousal support to still be on the table. The outlet noted that the dates of separation provided by the former flames did not match – Fox indicated November 2019 while he put in March 2020.
The news comes months after Fox and Green announced in May that they called it quits, after 10 years of marriage.
Nearly a month before the filing, Fox publicly lambasted Green over his Halloween picture with their son. She accused him of “feeding the pervasive narrative that I’m an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year.”
Fox also questioned his motive behind sharing the photo when he could have cropped the child from the image. She wondered why Green had to post their youngest son when he could have chosen a snapshot without the little one.
“I had a great halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media. I know you love your kids, but I don’t know why you can’t stop using them to posture via Instagram,” Fox wrote.
“You’re so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I’m an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year. You have them half of the time,” she added.
Although Green didn’t reply to the scathing statement, he deleted the photo and later uploaded a cropped version of the picture.
Meanwhile, Fox and Kelly made made their red-carpet debut as a couple at the American Music Awards Sunday. She even introduced her new beau before his performance, saying, “We’ve all been under his spell since his debut in 2012,” and was spotted with a tattoo that read “el pistolero.”
Kelly and Fox crossed paths on the set of “Midnight in the Switchgrass.” She was also featured in the music video for his song, “Bloody Valentine.”
