On Monday, it was revealed that Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are separating. The news was confirmed on an episode of Green's "…With Brian Austin Green" podcast. As for why the two had come to that conclusion, the "Beverly Hills, 90201" alum elaborated in the episode that Fox had had the realization during a solo trip she had taken for work late last year.
This marks the end of the 15-year relationship that the two shared. Amid her newly-announced split, how much is the "Jennifer's Body" star worth?
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Fox has a combined net worth with Green of $10M. As stated by the publication, the Tennessee-born actress began modeling and decided to test out of high school at the age of 17 in order to move to Los Angeles.
Her career playing the antagonist to Ashley Olsen's character in the 2001 movie "Holiday in the Sun." After several smaller parts on the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men" and an uncredited role in 2003's "Bad Boys II," she landed the part of Carla in the 2004 Lindsey Lohan-led movie "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen."
Her big break came in 2007 after appearing on "Hope & Faith" for two years. At that time, she was cast opposite Shia LaBeouf in "Transformers." The Michael Bay movie, which grossed a reported $709.7M worldwide, would then inspire the 2009 sequel "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." Later, she would appear in "Jennifer's Body" alongside Amanda Seyfried. Currently, she has several film projects in the works.
As for how Fox has spent some of her money over the years, the Los Angeles Times reports that the one-time couple had previously purchased a home in Toluca Lake, which is a neighborhood in Los Angeles. Previously owned by Bing Crosby, the home was originally purchased for $3.35M but was later sold in an off-market transaction for $2.6M in 2016.
Fox has yet to comment on her split from Green. The couple share three children-- Noah, 7, Bodhi, 6, and Journey, 3.
