Meghan King got candid about the lessons she learned after her marriage to Cuffe Biden Owens got officially annulled.
In the most recent episode of Caroline Stanbury's podcast, "Divorced Not Dead," King opened up about her marriage to Owens. She admitted that she wasn't sure about their romance and now wants to move on from it.
"I was very confused by the whole [relationship], but I'm just glad that it was short and sweet and it's done, and it's annulled," King said on the podcast, People reported. "The end. I put it behind me."
She admitted that they rushed their wedding. King and Owens met on a dating app and tied the knot in October 2021, just a month after they got to know each other. The marriage was reportedly Owens' idea, and she gave in even if she "didn't ever want to get married again, but it was important to him."
"We rushed into it... Like I said earlier, I'm a lover and I want everybody to be happy," she explained. "I learned some big lessons from that mistake. I'm sure he did as well."
King is not closing her doors from finding new love. However, she admitted that she is more cautious this time.
"I have a whole lot of love to give, and these bad relationships that I've been in haven't knocked me down," she explained. "And that's just who I am, I feel like I'm resilient. I want to give my whole heart, but I think I'm a little bit more guarded than I was in the past."
The "Real Housewives of Orange County" star also appeared in an episode of "SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live." During the interview, she admitted she wanted "stability" and a "partner." However, after three marriages, she realized that something was wrong.
"And so that’s what I’m looking for over and over and over, and I’m getting it wrong. So something is off," she said.
The reality star was previously married to Brad McDill, her college sweetheart, for four years before they split in 2011. She tied the knot with Jim Edmonds in October 2014. They split after five years and finalized their divorce in May 2021, just months before she married Owens.
King considered her marriage with Edmonds the only "real, legitimate marriage and divorce" for her. She shares three kids with Edmonds, daughter Aspen, 5, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, 3.
King got linked to businessman Trevor Colhoun recently. The pair are reportedly happy with their new relationship and are keeping things private, a source told Page Six.
