Meghan Markle Accused Of Not Being Humble, Modest For These Reasons
Meghan Markle has been accused of not being humble and modest by a relationship expert.
Sheela Mackintosh-Stewart, a matrimonial consultant and relationship guru, told Express that there have been a lot of things that have damaged Markle’s image in recent years. The Duchess of Sussex’s financial extravagance and her public displays of affection have damaged her image in the royal family.
“The old-fashioned British value of humility is not Meghan’s strongest point and reports of her financial extravagance have grated on the public. The image is overshadowing Meghan’s extensive charity work and her patronage of the Grenfell Tower cookery book in September,” she said.
Mackintosh-Stewart went on to say that modesty can also translate to quiet authority, and this is a powerful tool for winning over the public. As an example, the relationship expert said that senior royals do not normally hold hands with their spouses in public, especially when they are doing their royal duty.
Markle and Prince Harry have rejected this tradition and have upset and irritated some members of the public. The relationship expert also compared Markle with Princess Anne since the latter seems to be showing modesty much better than the “Suits” alum.
In related news, Markle also made headlines this week after her half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., blamed her for their family’s ongoing rift. While speaking with OK! Magazine, Thomas said that it is highly likely for their dad to feel hurt and confused regarding his relationship with his daughter.
“They had such a tight bond together and now he’s worried about her if he’s ever going to get to see his grandchild. It’s a new addition to the family and now would be a perfect opportunity for the family to get back together,” he said.
Earlier this month, Thomas Markle Sr. made his daughter’s private letters to him public, and it exposed some shocking information regarding their relationship. Markle told her dad that he broke her heart into a million pieces.
