Meghan Markle is reportedly becoming the new Princess Diana months after joining the royal family.

Royal expert Melanie Bromley told Express that the Duchess of Sussex has lost her voice amid her alleged feud with Kate Middleton.

“Now she is a member of the Royal Family, she’s lost her voice and is not able to actually say, ‘Hey, Kate and I are not arguing every Sunday over our roast dinner. We actually get on okay and we have a good friendship and occasionally we disagree like any normal family,’” the expert said.

According to Bromley, Prince Harry’s wife is not able to say anything to the royal family, and she has also been unable to stick up for herself. It seems that Markle was not prepared to receive all of the attention she has gotten since her May 19 wedding.

The expert went on to say that at first glance, becoming a Duchess and a Princess could be exciting for anyone. However, the role is actually horrifying.

“It’s a gilded cage and now she’s under so much negative attention and there’s nothing she can do about it. This is what Diana went through,” Bromley said.

Several years ago, Princess Diana went through a hard time with the press. But she was later on regarded as a “saint” by the media. But when the Prince and Princess of Wales got married, it was terrible for the late mom of two. The same thing is now being experienced by the “Suits” alum.

Markle is thought to be struggling will all of the negative reports being published by the media and a source close to her told US Weekly that Prince Harry’s wife is definitely bothered by all the rumors.

The Duchess of Sussex was previously rumored to be feuding with Kate Middleton and Prince William. She is also pregnant with her first child at the moment. As such, juggling the public backlash has been incredibly stressful for her.

Prince Harry is also greatly affected by his wife’s feelings because he thinks that he is responsible for Markle’s misery.
