Meghan Markle Called ‘Rebellious’ After Breaking Another Royal Protocol With Vulgar Fashion

Meghan Markle was dubbed “rebellious” after breaking another royal protocol.

The Duchess of Sussex is infamous for violating the royal rules especially ahead of her royal wedding to Prince Harry. Markle has been seen in black dresses, trousers, messy hair bun and she’s been hugging people which the senior members of the Firm don’t really approve. Markle changed her fashion after marrying the Duke of Sussex but recently broke another protocol when she attended the 2018 British Fashion Awards.

In the snaps taken from the event, Markle is seen with dark nail polish while cradling her baby bump. This triggered some royal fans to comment on her vulgar fashion.

“Meghan is rebellious with her dark nail polish — she looks so adorable and chic!” one netizen wrote on Twitter.

Although some were critical about Markle’s colored nail polish, royal commentator Marlene Koenig commented on one photo and insisted that the duchess didn’t break any royal protocol for opting to wear a dark manicure.

“Wearing nail polish is not regulated by protocol,” Koenig wrote.

According to reports, Queen Elizabeth II only prefers natural colors for nail polish. Her Majesty doesn’t like red and other colored manicures. Markle is not the only royal who wears colored polishes.

Princess Diana reportedly preferred colored nails and was often seen with red polish. Princess Eugenie who is popular for her bold fashion also caused a public stir after being photographed in a deep red manicure with different festive designs at the Buckingham Palace annual Christmas luncheon in 2015.

Princess Eugenie also showed her patriotic side in 2012 by opting for a Union Jack manicure when she watched the Epsom Derby. The event was part of the festivities for Queen Elizabeth II’s 60th birthday, so her choice was just perfect for the occasion.

In related news, Markle’s father attacked Prince Harry amid the rumored rift among the royals. Thomas Markle Sr. confessed that he wrote a 2-page letter addressed to his daughter after she continuously ignored him. In his letter, he threw shade at Markle’s husband by pointing out the Duke of Sussex’s scandals including his nude photos and controversial Nazi costume.
