More details regarding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s lawsuit have just been released.

Byline Investigates managed to obtain a copy of the royal couple’s court documents where the Duchess of Sussex denied a slew of accusations that were thrown at her since she joined the royal family.

Prince Harry’s wife was accused of ignoring her father, Thomas Markle Sr., and for not caring about his wellbeing when he informed her that he suffered from a heart attack.

Markle also responded to the five-page letter that she wrote to her dad and that was published by Daily Mail by saying that it was edited by the publication to present her in a negative light.

“The omitted parts demonstrate the Claimant’s care for her father and others, as well as her concern about the UK tabloid media exploiting her father, and the fact that she addresses untruths previously published by the Defendant. Those elements did not fit the Defendant’s narrative within the Articles,” the court documents read.

It was also revealed that Markle has been looking after her father’s health, and she has also reached out to him before her royal wedding last year.

The Duchess of Sussex’s lawyer also denied the allegations that Markle indulged in a lavish renovation of Frogmore Cottage before the birth of her son. Previous reports revealed that the Duchess of Sussex had a yoga studio, tennis court, and other features installed in her home.

“The clear intention was to portray the Claimant in a damaging light by suggesting that she had indulged in this series of absurdly lavish renovations, which were, in fact, false (as the Defendant was informed at the time) and entirely made up. Furthermore, the Defendant sought to portray these renovations as being done at ‘the taxpayer’s expense,’ costing ‘£2.4m [$3.1 million] of YOUR cash.’ This was also false and misleading,” Markle’s lawyers clarified.
