Meghan Markle ‘Disturbingly Self-Confident,’ Has ‘Discomforting Parallels’ With This Royal, Expert Claims
Meghan Markle has been described as disturbingly self-confident because she has discomforting parallels with a member of the royal family.
Lady Colin Campbell, who was good friends with the late Princess Diana, also warned the Duchess of Sussex against being a political activist.
While speaking with the Independent, the 69-year-old said that both Markle and Princess Diana are bright and ambitious, and they also know how to play the game. However, the two women also have some differences.
“Meghan is much better educated and more academic. Meghan is almost disturbingly self-confident… We must hope she realizes that her vision is not the only vision,” she said.
Campbell also talked about Princess Diana’s biggest insecurities and said that she hopes Markle won’t fall into any of the same traps. The source said that she hopes Prince Harry’s wife doesn’t have the psychological instability that the Princess of Wales had and that she won’t hit the buffers at any point just like what Princess Diana did.
Meanwhile, Campbell also advised the Duchess of Sussex to avoid becoming a political activist since as a member of the royal family, she should be able to represent all of the people or she should just keep her mouth shut.
“There are many conservative people, all over the world, many religious people, who do not have these ‘woke’ and ‘right-on’ views,” she said.
But Campbell is not the only expert who has warned Markle about how she’s dealing with her life as a royal. Princess Diana’s former royal butler, Paul Burrell, also said that Markle should tow the party line if she wants things to last.
Burrell also said that Markle should rein it in and stay safe behind closed doors because no one wants to see the “Suits” alum on television or in the newspapers every single day.
But news about Markle won’t die down anytime soon because she and Prince Harry just launched their Instagram account. She will also give birth to Baby Sussex soon.
