Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, just accused the Duchess of Sussex of having a fake relationship with mom Doria Ragland.

On her Twitter account, the author claimed that it was their dad, Thomas Markle Sr., that raised the former actress because Ragland wasn’t always around. She also urged the media and fans to get their facts straight before putting Ragland on a pedestal.

“We spoke out because she ghosted the whole family, both sides of the family. Get your facts straight. Dad pretty much raised her most of her life in his own and Doria was not around very much. Doria might be her best friend now because she ghosted her friend of 30 years [Ninaki Priddy],” she tweeted (via Fox News).

In a follow-up tweet, Samantha went on to say that most people don’t know what’s been going on behind the scenes.

“She ignored my father through a heart attack there is no excuse for it. You would be mentally ill to think that this is OK. Maybe you are the one who needs counseling,” she wrote.

Samantha recently flew to London to try and talk to Markle regarding their father’s failing health but failed. She went on to appear on Jeremy Vine’s talk show, but only received criticisms for the negative comments she has made towards Markle, Prince Harry, and the royal family.

Meanwhile, Samantha’s recent comments came after a royal fan asked Markle to her mom that she loves her. Markle was obviously grateful to the woman named Jennifer for her sweet compliment.

“We have that love in common, don’t we!” she told the fan while in Sussex (via Express).

Markle and Ragland were last seen in public together at the recent Grenfell Tower event where Markle launched a cookbook on behalf of a community kitchen. Ragland flew from Los Angeles to support her only child in her latest venture. The two women were also accompanied by Prince Harry at that time.
