She hasn’t confirmed the sex of the baby she is expecting in a few months with Prince Harry. However, an old wives’ tale about baby bumps may be serving as a clue when it comes to whether or not Meghan Markle will have a son or a daughter.

Speaking to Body + Soul, Groovy Babies Midwife Amanda Bude revealed that there is an old wives’ take that claims to indicate whether or not a woman is having a son or a daughter. Those tales state that someone who carries “wide and low,” and gains weight all around the abdomen, is having a girl, while someone who carries high and pointy is welcoming a boy.

As a result, based on how she’s carrying it would make it seem likely that Meghan Markle will be welcoming a son with Prince Harry.

However, Bude also noted that the tale is not proven as scientific fact, which means the world will just have to keep waiting when it comes to finding out if the royal pair will have a son or a daughter.

“But I don’t think there are any research that has ever been done to credit this,” she said., before adding that the predictions based on a bump alone can’t determine the baby’s sex “because [everyone’s] body is as unique as a fingerprint,” which affects how a woman carries.
