Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have been pitted against each other since the latter joined the royal family last year.

But according to E! News, even though the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex don’t consider each other best friends, there’s really no problem between them.

In fact, Prince Harry’s wife is fully aware that Kate Middleton is on a one-way road to Buckingham Palace, and she simply isn’t. After all, the Duchess of Cambridge will become queen once Prince William is crowned as king. Prince Harry, on the other hand, will never become king.

The publication stressed the fact that Meghan Markle is more than OK with Kate Middleton’s future role especially after she experienced first-hand how difficult it is to be married to a royal.

Even though Prince Harry is sixth in line to the throne, Markle has struggled a lot since they tied the knot. In fact, she told Tom Bradby in “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey” that things only became worse while she was pregnant with Archie.

But while Meghan Markle was struggling with her royal life as a new wife and a new mom, Kate Middleton has reportedly reached out to her. Royal expert Phil Dampier recently told Express that Prince William’s wife reminded her sister-in-law that every member of the royal family goes through a bad patch with the press, and they all just need to learn from their mistakes.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle also made headlines recently after it was revealed that the future Queen is relieved that the Sussexes won’t be celebrating Christmas in Sandringham. Prince William thinks it’s unusual to not have his younger brother around because they have celebrated most of their Christmases together.

While speaking with Daily Mail, Dampier said that Christmas is the best time for the Sussexes to heal whatever issues they have with the royal family.

“If Harry and Meghan wanted to heal the divisions they should have turned up at Sandringham. It's a great shame but there seems to be a problem which is getting worse, not better,” he said.
