On Wednesday, talk show host Wendy Williams stated on her show that Meghan Markle had once expressed interest in a job on the program. Williams, 54, said that the Duchess of Sussex tried to get hired as a model on the show prior to becoming a member of the royal family, per Page Six.

"She came here to be on one of our models. We do the fashion -- things like that. This was before she met the man -- the redhead -- [Prince] Harry, but Meghan knows 'Wendy Show,'" the host stated.

"Meghan wanted to work here," she added.

Williams' latest remark about Markle comes after she discussed the British royal's alleged desire to work for her show back in February 2018. At the time, Williams had called the Duchess a "random princess."

These are not the only times that "The Wendy Williams Show" host has discussed the Duchess. During an episode in 2017, Williams brought up the fact that Markle previously worked on the game show "Deal Or No Deal" as a model.

As reported by Vanity Fair, she said, "I respect Meghan Markle's hustle and I respect her game. However, she's a bit of a wild card, you know, because she goes from being the 'Deal or No Deal' girl -- so this is a girl looking for game."

According to Williams, Meghan did not get the job, but it seems as though becoming the Duchess is a fine trade-off.
