Meghan Markle’s Half-Sister Mocks Duchess Over ‘Air Freshener Claims’ At Royal Wedding
Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, recently mocked the Duchess of Sussex over claims that she requested air fresheners in St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle for her royal wedding.
The 53-year-old author, who has not spoken to Markle in months, made fun of the “Suits” alum on her Twitter account.
“I heard a rumor about demands being made for scent busters or air freshener in Windsor. When sis sees the ghost of Ann Boleyn walking the tower with her head in her hands, she will demand Ghostbusters? Lol,” she wrote (via Daily Mail).
Earlier this week, it was reported that Markle requested for air fresheners to get rid of the foul odor in the church ahead of her May 19 wedding to Prince Harry. It was also revealed that Markle’s request was denied by the palace because St. George’s Chapel is Queen Elizabeth II’s place of worship.
In related news, after weeks of silence, Samantha went back to criticizing her half-sister last weekend and accused her of ghosting their family. She also hinted on the upcoming release of her tell-all book about Markle.
“It has nothing to do with that. Everyone is missing the point. It has nothing to do with being an American or American family. It has to do with an entire family being ghosted and the truth is hidden. This was an Italian family it will be more dramatic,” she wrote.
Markle is being plagued with a slew of criticisms. It was previously claimed that she sends out emails of requests to palace staff as early as 5 a.m. Markle’s outrageous demands didn’t sit well with everyone, and this was one of the reasons why three of her staff already resigned.
Rumors swirled that Markle has also been feuding with Kate Middleton over a number of things. Royal experts claimed that the two were never friends, and they never had the chance to be close. Markle is also being blamed for Prince Harry and Middleton’s alleged fallout, and she has also been accused of changing the Duke of Sussex ever since they tied the knot.
