Melania Trump Confession: FLOTUS Divulged What She Loves About President Donald; Couple Have 'Great' Relationship

Melania Trump and President Donald Trump have been together for 20 years already. The former model and the real-estate mogul started dating in 1998 after they met at a Kit Kat Club party in Times Square. Though the POTUS had Celina Midelfart as his date, he could not get his eyes off of Melania at the time.

The First Lady of the United States, for her part, was said to be intimidated by the businessman. However, it did not take long when Melania started to develop feelings for Donald. In fact, during an interview with ABC News in 2016, the mom of one revealed the primary reason why she fell in love with the current POTUS.

Melania Trump said she was attracted to Donald Trump’s “amazing mind,” “great energy” and his charm. Though she was not visible during her husband’s presidential campaign, Melania made it clear that he has her 100 percent support. The FLOTUS even revealed, in a separate interview, that she and Donald have a “great” relationship.

When asked about how she feels about the endless disparagements and condemnations the POTUS often receives from his critics, Melania said she and her husband are always ready for that. “We have thick skin and we know that people will judge him and people will call names,” Melania Trump stated on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” show, per Politico. “And they don't give him enough credit,” she went on.

Meanwhile, some remain unconvinced that Melania is joyful with her marriage with President Donald Trump despite her previous claim that she and her husband are living happily together. In fact, the POTUS raised eyebrows again when he corrected and, allegedly, humiliated Melania after she announced her New Year’s wish in front of the members of the press.

“Peace on the world,” Melania said, per Daily Express, when asked about her resolutions in 2020. While some reporters were pleased with the FLOTUS’s response, Donald Trump quickly chimed in and stated that saying a resolution out loud is a bad idea. “So I don't want to say what my resolution is because I think we jinx it, alright?” Barron’s mom corrected herself.

Just a few days after Melania Trump and Donald’s awkward moment, the POTUS called in an airstrike on Iranian major general Qasem Soleimani. Netizens suggested that it was the primary reason why Donald was quick to shut down his wife’s wish for world peace.

“When Melania told reporters she wished for peace around the world on New Year's Eve and Trump jumped in and disparaged her by adding his opinion....I got a strange feeling. Now I know why,” one Twitter user said. “Dear @FLOTUS, please never wish peace in the world again. It seems to have backfired,” another netizen stated.
