Melania Trump Snub: Ivanka More Popular, Influential Than FLOTUS Amid Qualification Criticisms
KEY POINTS
- Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump's relationship
- Melania Trump as FLOTUS
- Ivanka Trump as First Daughter
Ivanka Trump is more popular than her mother-in-law Melania Trump.
According to Express, Donald Trump’s daughter is more influential than his current wife. The first daughter and the first lady have been criticized for various reasons, but one of them proves to be more powerful than the other.
Ivanka has been recognized by Forbes as one of the 100 most powerful women of 2019. Melania didn’t make it to the list.
Ivanka has endured intense backlash from her critics. Some said that she was unqualified to represent the Americans due to her lack of experience and knowledge in politics. Meanwhile, others attacked her after Donald called to investigate Hunter Biden for getting paid $83,000 a month.
Twitter users fired back and said that Ivanka and Jared should be investigated for making $82 million shortly after moving to the White House. Several online users suggested that Donald should investigate his daughter and himself because they are a “seriously corrupt family.”
Despite the criticisms, many also supported Ivanka. In fact, several were impressed by the Child Tax Credit. According to one netizen, it’s a “great accomplishment” for Ivanka. Another said that it’s an “amazing gift to parents.”
The changes that Ivanka did to the SNAP only applies to able-bodied individuals and couples without children aged 18 to 49 years old. Those who are unfit to work like individuals with disabilities and parents with children will not be affected and many approved of it.
One said that those who are in need will not lose anything. However, those who are lazy or illegally sponging off the taxpayers will be affected because they will be forced to work.
Meanwhile, Melania is in hot water again. According to Bill Palmer, the FLOTUS is facing another round of embarrassment after Donald attacked Greta Thunberg’s latest accomplishment and without her doing anything to defend the teenager. Several Twitter users are waiting for the first lady to stand up for Thunberg after she said last week that minor kids should be kept out of politics.
