Michael Jackson’s Father Joe Jackson Survives Car Crash ‘Without A Scratch,’ Is Now Recovering

Michael Jackson’s dad, Joe Jackson, is doing fine after being involved in a car accident.

On Friday, Jackson was rushed to the hospital after a car crash. Fortunately, it seems he did not sustain any major injuries as he has already been released from the facility and is now recovering. Jackson told TMZ that he “got out of it without a scratch” and added, “All is well. Thank God.” However, his assistant, who had been driving the car, did not walk away completely unscathed and reportedly broke his thumb.

Shortly after being released, the Jackson family patriarch gave fans an update about his condition on his official website. “Happy to report I am back home and my friend Charles Coupet is doing fine too!” he wrote, posting along with it a photo of him and his friend.

On Friday morning, Jackson was riding in the passenger seat of a black Jaguar when it suddenly T-boned a red SUV. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department told Variety that Jackson was traveling westbound on West Sahara Avenue east of Decatur Boulevard. At around 11:13 a.m., his vehicle was hit by another car who attempted to make a left turn. The other driver was “cited for failure to yield right of way.” There were no signs of impairment in either of the drivers.

The witnesses said that Jackson, 88, reportedly walked into the Panda Express near the accident scene. He sat down and winced in pain. He complained of chest pains and was immediately brought via ambulance to the nearby University Medical Center.

This is not the first time that Jackson had suffered a near death experience. In 2015, Jackson suffered a stroke and three heart attacks, Daily Mail reported. At the time, he had flown to Brazil for a pleasure trip and a $200,000 birthday blowout. Unfortunately, he never made it to his birthday bash because after a night of partying with younger women, his body deteriorated. Jackson had reportedly been spotted dining with a group of young ladies just hours after his arrival. After two days, he was seen hanging out with another group of attractive redheads. On July 26, he had reportedly started feeling that he was unwell and was eventually taken to a hospital. He survived multiple cardiac arrests after his heart stopped for 10 seconds.

The local news reported that Jackson overdid his pleasure trip in Brazil. He had indulged in too much drinking, stayed up late and allegedly took three Viagra pills. However, his PR assistant Lisa Crazy denied those reports.
